Beberapa verb yang biasa diikuti oleh gerund antara lain : put off,enjoy,finish,stop,quit,mind,postpone,keep,keep on,consider,think about,talk about,discuss.

Present Participle : Stated in active meaning

    V1 + ing

example : the problem confuses the students

            it is a confusing problem(present participle)

Past Participle : Stated in passive meaning.menjelaskan tentang bagaimana seseorang merasakan sesuatu

example : Mr.Anwar was embarassed by the situation

              he was embarassed man(past participle)

I. Present  Simple Passive:

   (+) S+to be(am/is/are)+ VIII

   (-) S+to be(am/is/are)+not+ VIII

example:

Aktif : I study English every Tuesday

Passive:(+) English is studied by me every Tuesday

           (-) English is not studied by me every Tuesday
